The day of the videochat consultation has arrived. Our hair transplant specialist is calling you on the agreed platform right on time. You may choose among Facebook Messenger, Skype, Whatsapp or Viber.
During a 1-hour medical consultation our doctor is estimating your hair loss and the number of grafts needed to transplant for a nice and natural result. She is going to ask you medical questions to make sure you are ready for an operation. This one hour is all about you and your hair situation, so please do not hesitate to tell us all your wishes, questions, concerns and doubts. Our doctor is happy to talk through the whole process with you.

On the day of the video consultation you receive the treatment plan and price offer in e-mail.
If you are ready for a hair transplant at Art ‘N Hair Clinic, we are choosing dates for your operation. As soon as you agree on the dates, we are booking 7-Seasons Apartment House downtown in Budapest. We suggest you come a day before your operation and leave Budapest the day after your surgery.
A 1-day operation means a 3 days trip, a 2-days operation means a 4 days trip.
We kindly ask you to book your airplane tickets or arrange your trip by car or train. As you let us know your preferred way of traveling, we are going to arrange a transfer from the airport/ train station to the hotel.

The big day has come, you are coming to Budapest!
If you choose airplane, train or bus, our driver is waiting for you at the airport/ station to take you to the hotel. Enjoy your time, take a walk, have a nice dinner. Our English-speaking customer service manager is calling you in the evening to make sure you are doing well.
In the morning our driver is waiting for you in the lobby at 8.30 am.
Breakfast is included in your stay, please take the opportunity before 8.30.
You arrive at the Art ‘N Hair clinic around 9 am.
You meet the medical team, you choose your lunch (any cuisine of your preference) and get comfortable in the patient room. You get an operation outfit for the day.
The doctor is checking your hair and scalp with a microcamera. You go through the hairline and the details of the surgery again. If you have any questions, concerns or wishes please let the team know.
An assistant is escorting you to the patient room and shave your head with an electric trimmer. When you are nice and clean, you are ready for the operation room.
In the first half of the hair transplant you are going to lie prone, face down as we are working on the back of your head.
First we apply anesthesia then the harvest of the grafts begins. It takes around 2-3 hours. The operation bed is comfortable, most of our patients fall asleep during harvesting. If you need a break you can always ask for a pause.
Up to 1300-1800 grafts are out, they are resting in a cool solution waiting for being placed in the top of your head. It’s time for you to rest too, lunchtime begins. If PRP is in your package, we take blood for the treatment right after lunch.
The doctor plans and draws the hairline, you check if you like it. When you two agreed the second half of the day starts!
In the afternoon you are going to half sit-half lie. We are working on the top of your head. First is anesthesia again then planting of the grafts begins.
It takes around 3-4 hours. You may watch Netflix, listen to music or chat with the Team.
If you come for a 1-day operation, it’s the end of the hair transplant. We give you an after treatment package with medications, neck pillow and a detailed care plan. The driver is ready to take you back to the hotel.
If you come for a 2-days operation, the second day of your operation is going to be very similar to the 1st one. Transfer from hotel to the clinic at 8.30 am, harvesting in the morning, lunch break, planting in the afternoon, transfer back around 4 pm.
The first few days you might feel uncomfortable. You need to sleep with the neck pillow and make sure nothing and nobody touches the transplanted area.
In the first 3 days you need to spray your hair every 1-2 hours with a solution.
We give you this in travel size, so you can take it on the airplane.
On the 4th day you might wash your hair gently with baby shampoo.
We ask you to send us pictures of your head on the 7th day so the doctor checks if it is curing well. Most of the patients have no scars by the 7th day, but it may vary, so do not worry if you are curing slower. The doctor is going to monitor your process by pictures.
1 month after your surgery we are asking for photos again. Your scalp should be clean, your hair is weak but there. No pain or inconvenience should appear in this stage. Be ready and do not worry: your transplanted hair is about to fall soon.
3 months after the hair transplant we would like to see you again in pictures. Your hair probably fell out already, it might have started to grow back slowly. If not yet, do not worry.
6 months after hair transplant you should expect visible results already, your hair is definitely growing! Some have spectacular changes by 6 months, some develop a little slower. It’s up to your age, health conditions, lifestlye and also the area of hair transplant. Vertex develops a little slower than the front or top of the head.
1 year after hair transplant you might have the final result…nice, natural and dense hair. We would love to see you with your fully grown hair, please show off with some pics!
